Common Questions from Shoppers

Can I buy a ticket for Preview Night?

No, unfortunately, we do not sell Preview Night tickets.  If you aren’t interested in selling, consider donating your gently used items to the Glenn Sale in exchange for a Preview Night ticket.

I am interested in attending the consignment sale on Friday morning. Do I need a ticket for Friday as well?

No, tickets are only required for Preview Night on Thursday. Tickets are given to sellers and donors of $50 or more worth of gently used items.

Can I bring my baby in a baby carrier Friday morning?

No children, even in carriers are allowed Friday morning until noon (12pm).

My child is well-behaved and quiet, and I’m not worried about him/her being trampled on Friday morning.  Can I bring him/her if I am willing to accept the risks?

No, we are really sorry.  It is so hard for us to turn away families with children on Friday morning.  However, of all of our rules, this one never gets bent!!  We will have to ask you and your child to wait to enter until after noon.

Can you watch my child while I shop on Friday morning?  Or can I leave my child in the front of the building un attended while I shop on Friday morning?

No, we are sorry, but we cannot be responsible for your child during the sale.

My child is ten-year-old, and is picky about what s/he wears.  Since s/he is older, can s/he come in on Friday before noon?

No, for purposes of our sale, any child who can shop at the sale cannot come to the sale before noon.

I am an expectant mother.  Do you have a special shopping time for expectant mothers?

No, we do not.  However, we typically have a number of opportunities to win a preview night pass on our Facebook page.

Do you have volunteer opportunities for anyone who is not a Glenn parent in exchange for a Preview Night pass?

No, our sale is fully run by parents.
